How to help stress

Stress can often consume us and these few tips can help you to control it! So with the semester winding down, stress usually raised very high for everyone. When stress is we tend to turn to bad things in such as junk food, alcohol and avoid the important things that need to get done, or at least that’s what I do. You see any freaking out over classes or presentations, and it really is not good for our health. Even today I had a demo and although it was not that big of one, the group and the presentation made me very nervous that it changed the body. Last night I got much sleep because I was tossing and turning over the stress that this project gave me. Group members were my slacking and I was worried that it would not all get done on time or come together when it needs to. Because of this, I went to bed late, and had to wake up hours earlier than I usually do take such a task. All day I’ve had a headache and just do not feel like me. I’ve been frustrated, and my body is aching. Stress can do crazy things to your body and not something we should take lightly. We should all learn how to control our stress better because of the effect on our body is so unhealthy and is not fun. By taking time out of our day and relaxing we can lower these stress and can maintain our physical health. No matter what you’re dealing with there is no reason to emphasize that much because it’ll go well all doing great. Here are some strategies that will help me manage my stress, and I think they can help you:

Sleep – I can tell you this from first hand experience, if you do not get enough sleep, it will throw everything off. No getting enough sleep can more irritable during the day, among other things, and no one enjoys irritable person. Do not sleep also makes us tired all day. Being tired can lead to many things including missing training. When we lose practice it puts perch in our training and can lead to worse things. When we are tired, we do not care about what we eat and that leads to my next point.

Food – Eating junk food does not solve anything, no matter how much people think it does. Unhealthy food that tastes good can make us feel good in the moment, but it is so bad for our body. This food makes us feel bad and may even lead to stress and keep the cycle going. If we eat healthy food, and it can reduce stress levels many ways. Eating healthy makes us feel healthy makes us feel good about ourselves. Eating healthy also gives us the vitamins and nutrients our body needs to maintain a healthy self and a healthy body is a healthy you.

Exercise – Nothing reduces stress like hitting the weight. Whether it’s the stress of anger or school, exercise can clear our minds and help us relax. Exercise gives us a natural high which is great for us. It gives us energy and makes us feel good just like to eat healthy.

Procrastination – nothing is more stressful than waiting until the last second to finish something. With most of us students semesters winding it down will be many papers and presentations due. Starting this project early can prevent future unnecessary stress. Prioritize your life and realize what is important. At present, homework is more important than TV and video games. School is our future and we need to take it seriously.

Take time for yourself – Alone time can work wonders and is something I rarely do. I am always around people whether in class or at my apartment. Some time we can help us get a clear head and reflect on all that we have to do. Sometimes we get so caught up in life that we lose what we have to do. Go to your room and turn everything off. I realized recently that about 95% of my day I’m looking at the screen of some kind. This can be good for our eyes, then what our brains. By turning off all that we can actually get some peace and quiet. Just relax and take a deep breath and consider all that you need.

Do not worry – Worry is not good for us. We have the opportunity to make our future and there is no reason to worry. If something is due, do it. If we do not like the look of our workout. We have the opportunity to change our lives and we often forget and instead of being lazy and just wish we could be better or different. The concern is not good for any treatment and only leads to worse things. I know I’m a hypochondriac, and all I do is worry and as difficult as it is, I realize that it is so bad for me. Do not worry, everything will workout.

The new year is coming and it is a great opportunity to make some new goals for life. Promise yourself that you will exercise more or change your diet, we have the opportunity to change our future. Lets all be motivated and remember what is important in our lives. Health is one of our main concern in life and is something that we can control to an extent. Give your body what it needs to thrive and not let stress overtake you. Having a healthy mind can lead to a healthy body and it is something we should all fight. Following these steps can help you reduce stress and maintain and I know they helped me.
